My Matrix Plan

So far, my 8 slide matrix plan is to have my story based on the training of horses. My idea is to describe with pictures and few words that the way you train them will affect not only the performance of the horse, but their personality and how they connect with the world. I will have Good vs. Bad, Training for trust vs. training for power. Too many people train their horses so they control it, and don’t create a relationship, with that your horse will become distant from the human world and much harder to work with. I want to describe the difference when the horse trusts you and loves you; he works with you rather than fighting with you.

School Problems

Its hard to get caught up with your work when you have been sick for a couple days. Too much work to catch uo on!

Levels- Brightened it up, to bring out her face.
Grayscale/duotone- i made it to a lighter gray
Contrast/brightness- Increased both contrast and brightness by just 4 notches or so, to really enhanse the photo.
Border- made the border fairly thin, so it doesnt destract the eye from the photo. and feathered with an 8.

Framing photo

This is a good example of a framing photo because the beam is framint the subjects. It shows that the people are the main attention.

Levels - Brightened the picture to make my subject become clear

Grayscale/ duotone - I went to gray scale, than to duotone. I chose a sharp gray/black to make our eyes draw to the main subject
levels - i went to levels again to really brighten up the photo, so the subject wouldn't get drained into the pavement.
Contrast - i sharpened the contrast so that the black was way more black, to really attract the eye.
Vingette - I selected, inversed, than feathered. I filled it in to make the border black.

making the poster - I made a new fiile, (20x30) I dragged the picture onto the new document, changed the size, and possitioned it to the centre.

My Corrections include:
levels - increase the mid values to make the middle of the picture brighter, and more appealing to the eye.
Blured the back ground - i selected the 'infocus' image, than highlighted the rest i wanted to be clear (Felishia and Kristi) I inversed the selection than blurred the background with a gaussian blur.
Changed the hues - I went to image, mode, gray scale, duetone. I made my second colour to a medium purple to really bring out the girls more than the background.
Levels- i went to levels again to brighten up the picture.
Contrast - i increased the contrast to make the background more washed out, to really make Felishia and Kristi pop out.
